family planning in guate

Here's an interesting article I got off of Colleen's blog, it's about family planning in Guatemala and related to health education here. People here have very little notion of health education, sex ed, family planning, healthy relationships, self esteem...Women have little access to birth control and contraception isn't widespread here, and because of religion, tradition, and machismo, women sometimes have to plead with their husband to limit the number of children to 3 or 4 rather than constantly keep having children they know they can't provide for.
